I'm actually moving into the opposite direction.
It sucks right now, sure, and it's a lot of work for the admins & mods, but I think once the dust has settled, a lot will be brought back, just not into the public area.
As community, we're going to have to control each other & stop people from posting violating content in the public space, admonish people & report posts, and then we're going to (mostly) go back to how it was. Just not any AI lewds in this thread (which sucks) but maybe there's going to be a P1 or P4 image thread where people can focus more on that again.

But at the end of it? The silly moron will have made a little trouble and we're going to have measures that ultimately make the forum easier to moderate without limiting AI art. (Only limiting it to certain sections)

The only thing that really still irks me is the loss of cool avatar images I've gotten so used to. Now THAT pisses me off.

My biggest hope out of this disaster is clear rules. Like AI when clothed is allowed but not too realistic and not certain clothes or poses that too sexy. I would like not miss understandable lines drawn what content is accepted in which tier (standard,mem+,P1,P4).

I don't understand what's wrong with posting images of AI, is there some hidden law or rule on the internet that I'm not aware of?

someone reported it to the webhost and the webhost did what they have to do to cover their ass and let us know that someone found offence with the AI content. The FBI made a post about arresting an AI artist like 2 or 3 months back so it's being a bit more enforced.

Well, the army lost their clothes in the fire, but they seem ready to serve still.

Reminds me of a couple times around the house. Once, years ago, after mowing the lawn I was floating in the pool with a beer, cap over my face, and I sensed something - there was a family of raccoons (mom, dad, 4 kits, if I remember right) walking along the side of the pool, checking me out. Another time I had a critter cam out after my dog got away - put a spot on the front porch where he could come back and sleep/grab food and maybe I'd catch him. On multiple occasions I saw a similarly sized family of trash pandas stealing his food. Mean little buggers. And I did eventually get the dog back.

Here or any other forum where people speak english is a good place to practice your english, if you want to learn you can improve a lot just by reading and trying to speak a few sentences, mine is not perfect but I can understand almost everything people say, And if you don't understand something... well you always have google translate.

Problem is those contests usually choose a top 10 based on likes and then put up a poll for voting. If the whole thread got moved to P4 then people just lose access to their own posts for a bit until the threads get moved again or they buy P4. If the thread got wiped clean then the contest is ruined and will have to be restarted.

That is one of the reasons why I deleted my Giveaway
