This just reminded me of the petition asking Patreon management to block pages that collect donations for incest VN. You and I see the difference between the real and the virtual, and just because we like something in the virtual doesn't mean we will do the same in reality, otherwise billions of people would have been killed because of counter strike (but these hypocritical pseudo-morals do not remember this).

I didn't even know about that, I thought it was all Visa's doing. If I was Patreon management I would simply switched to crypto payments just on principle and told the petitioners and Visa both to go fuck themselves, even if I lost half of the millions a month from it in the process (after a point more money/digits in a bank account balance makes little difference anyway). They are a private company so aren't even beholden to shareholders or a bunch of board members anyway. at least unless they decide to sell their souls to the devil and go public like most everyone else. And as far as incest I may be a bit biased but even in real life I don't see how what 2 consenting people do in their own bedrooms is anyone else's business. I mean sure other family members can maybe be rightfully pissed about it or whatever but even when deciding to assume the extra risk of starting a family (that should be their decision and theirs alone) I don't see how that ruins or even affects the life of a bunch of strangers across the street, in the next town over or 1000 miles away. You'd think they'd have more pressing shit to worry about like living their own life, minding their own business and worrying about maintaining their own family/household.

Ah yes, Change.org, the bastions of morality policing, at least their version of it. The same morons that tried to get sibling incest outlawed in Ohio on at least 2 previous occassions (and failed I might add, thankfully after gay marriage was legalized there's fewer of those types as most have given up). I really wish people could reply to them right on that page and tell them to go fuck themselves and if they don't like it then simply quit reading it and don't allow downloading it in their household or even boycot Patreon if it suits them (I have for the opposite reason of NOT allowing incest). For reference in Ohio to even get some issue/proposed law on the ballot in the next general election to be voted on takes 1000 registered voter signatures out of 8M voters (which is a hurdle in itself, most people here do not like the idea of the gov't trying to police people's bedrooms, it's why sibling and some other types of incest are still legal here). That 5k is probably worldwide out of 500M+ site users (in other words petitioners would probably be outnumbered over 12:1 if it could be voted on right there on the page). It always seems to be a vocal minority that should be ignored by everybody, especially by the those in charge, fucking shit up for everyone else. Gotta love the Streisand Effect though. Thanks to them I found a few more incest AVNs in their books-that-need-burned list to try that I previously didn't know existed. It's like they think the internet is Patreon only, some of those are also on Steam and at least Valve seems to have a backbone when it comes to incest (if only they did for lolis too). Kick them off Patreon = they will just go to SS, BB, or even the darkweb if need be if they formerly relied on Patreon to eat (and then they just made the "problem" worse, as instead of rendered imaginary cartoons it's upgraded to real incest and even C P with real people to be competitive there). I wouldn't care even if by some highly unlikely chain of events next year we found ourselves the same as we were 2500 years ago, where upon giving birth the kid was taken to an oracle. And if the oracle said the wrong things or if it was simply on the small side due to a being a few weeks premature the kid was left in the woods to die of exposure and probably be eaten by wolves and other predators after (who needs abortion laws/debates when that was normal back then, so much simpler). More recently, 1860-1880's, the US AOC's was 7-12 depending on territory and it wasn't too hard to find 10-12yo prostitutes being pimped out by their parents or more commonly some adoptive stranger if they were Civil War orphans in bigger cities like NYC, Philly, Chicago, etc (some of the higher end ones would even hire a skilled seamstress to stich her hymen back together, since "virgins" went for 5-10x more). I dont think the mods want us talking too much about real AoC or the controversy of it, but what turns people from "i dont like it so i dont do it" to "i dont like it so i must destroy it" is when people believe that by X thing existing they are promoting something dangerous to society or to their lives or lives of people they care about. Society can take a flying leap off a cliff and destroy itself for all I care (if only everyone else had the same attitude). What might happen in 100 years after all current family members are dead from old age anyway also isn't our problem (fuck global warming/climate change, let it burn instead of doubling my electric bill every 10 years). My family mostly keeps to itself anyway (at least outside the kids' school) so we mostly wouldn't even notice even if a zombie apocalypse or, more likely, a more virulent Covid 29 was the cause. And yes I mind my own business so if there's some weirdo killing other strangers' pets it's not my problem unless/until they make it personal by killing my own family pets, then it is (and if I find them I'll do a Jimmy Hoffa and make sure the body is never found, assuming they didn't go and kill the wrong person's pets before mine, as alot of people in my neck of the woods will call the county morgue, and then the cops, in that order, if they simply don't call the local landscaping store to rent a woodchipper/backhoe to dispose of the body if they don't have any pigs to feed). They have to be hand-written signatures on old school paper, not electronic, so 1000 is quite a few to collect, esp for unpopular isues most voters won't give that much of a shit about (ie outlawing sibling and cousin incest) so may need to repeat your sales pitch a literal 1 million times to get that 1000 signatures. And that's just to get it on the ballot, once it does it takes a simple majority to become law, but if it was a struggle for that stage to happen it most certainly won't pass. Most recent hot topic things to be voted on have come from SCOTUS overturning Roe vs Wade, and so leaving up to states whether to outlaw abortions or not, and a few months ago Ohio has pretty much told Republicans' efforts to stop abortion from being legally protected by the state contitution nope, better luck next time by some other legal roadblock, and passed the abortion rights amendment to the state constituion by 57%. Makes sense to me, women and their doctors should make that call, not politicians. Most things are rather mundane/boring though, like tax levies for schools and other programs either getting renewed or letting them expire at the county level (which usualy amount to not even a .05% difference on the tax bill anyway for any given issue).

I'm not sure what "old school paper" means, but handwritten passport details etc. should be here and 100,000 is a huge number, and petitions are ignored here, absolutely everything. I'm amazed at how active political life is on another continent. And though it has its difficulties, at least it's moving forward. Regarding abortion, I believe that it should be a right, not an obligation and only sectarians cover themselves with religion. Anyway, thanks for the information.
