Any of the following when unavoidable: rape, brutality, futa, scat (or any other forced spewing from an orifice that isn't an orgasm). I don't mind pregnancy altogether, though I prefer that I get to choose it while the VN is going; however, I don't mind it just showing up in the epilogue.

Bad writing - or badly translated - will cause me to stop a VN, and grind, grind, grind, grind, grind sandbox bullshit. A free roam thing, or a few tasks (example - Warthogs in Eternum or the way Desert Stalker is done) are fine, but don't make me repeat the same few actions multiple times over multiple days to only get nominal advancement.

Yes the huge boobs and arse.... like damn not every chick has to have the same features. It's really getting dull. I also agree with the rest of your list. My favorite sand box is the treasure of nadia. In my opinion it was done right. Not too much grinding neither.

I’m old and picky. I hate plenty of stuff, but I do due diligence (reviews, comments, etc…) and I avoid what’s below when I can. So here goes:

1-Adding Tags I hate (NTR, Scat, Ws, Male/Fem-dom, violence, etc…) Notice “adding”. If it’s there from the start, I simply avoid the game.

2-Saves not work. You get 3 strikes with me. Then I play something else. 1 strike in sandbox. (I am NOT grinding that again)

3-Anti-Mod devs. URM for the win for Ren’py. I mostly avoid other engines. It’s your game but it’s my time.

4-“Realistic” stories. I don’t play shooters to be realistic. I don’t play porn for realistic sex.

5-Fake choices. Kinetic novel is perfectly acceptable to me. But don’t call it a VN if the choices don’t matter. Extra “fuck you” points for single choice clicks I HAVE to click on to continue the story.

6-Beta MCs. Some bitchy Love Interest fucks me over and I HAVE to forgive her and kiss her ass? Delete game plus put Dev in my “NOPE” list.

Bad translation to English and poor grammar, misspelled words.
Noisy renders. No excuse now that Nvidia 3060s are under $300.
Grinding that's turns what would be an1-hour game into 10+ hours.
Games that show how out of touch with reality the dev is: big houses with only 1 bathroom, hallways wide enough to drive a car through them, unrealistic prices/salaries. I could go on. The point of even an NSFW game is to keep the player engaged. I become disengaged from a game where little though was given to anything that wasn't NSFW related.

YES! I'm all about supporting good product but that bait n switch has made me very reluctant to keep donating to the cause. Now I just subscribe to one month then unsub until the next release AFTER I read the reviews that it's not a trap(nothing burger)
