some games are so well made by their devs in every aspect, image, sound, story and lewdness, that can't be only considered a simple game (not that its a problem being a simple game).
They put in hard work... but there will definitely be different opinions about this

For a game to be more than a simple game it takes a lot. These will definitely take a fair amount of time to develop. There are a few out there.

There is some good games, but no any masterpieces. On the literary side, it's predominantly fanfic level. If the authors had real talent, they would be published in reputable magazines or would publish books.

I agree with the fandic level. the amount of polishing needed to deliver a masterpiece is often too much to overcome for teams on this side, witht he budget they have.

In fact, it's pretty great art. Randers made are generally related to the imagination and talent of the maker. You don't like every game you play. You follow the games you like. If you focus on the games you follow, you will see that they are different from others and excite you more. That's why I think it's such great art. I compare it to a painter who paints as an artist.

I think every game can be counted as "art" in some way or other. Whether it's good "art" it's a different discussion.

If some museums can put a dude yelling and call it art, I would go with this being art

But being serious now, I think anything can be considered art, even some of those things that are put in museums, it's just that some are good and/or deserve attention while others don't, too many things in museums and fashion shows are so bad that it hurts.

I don't see why it can't be both. You can make a simple game and that game is still a product of your creative mind, no matter how simple it is
