Do you have any preference for tags or art styles or whatever? What games have you played that you enjoyed?

Some of my favorites are:

Eternum: Good story and art, reputable developer.
The Big Step/Not a World for Alyssa: Good art, ok story. Reputable developer.
Pale Carnations: Good art, consistent updates.
Out of Touch: Great story, ok graphics.
Light of My Life: Good story and art (if you like the style).
Grandma's House: Good art, not much story, very consistent updates.
Burned: Good art, hilarious (to me).
