Our Island - Chapter 4
In chapter 4, I have abandoned relationship points and this will be the last chance to get on or off of character paths. That doesn't mean it'll be kinetic the rest of the way, but relationships will be locked from this point onward. Every character has at least two opportunities to say yes/no, except Heather. Heather will always be a yes.

I love your games _13_ ! But I have to ask if I was the only one who couldn't unpack this latest version? Windows Defender kept telling me it was infected with a trojan, and subsequently deleted the archive.
First time ever this happens to me, and I tried downloading it both from GoFile and itch.io, but to no avail.
Maybe there is someone who can help me figuring out what's wrong. Cheers!

Have you tried running it through the virus total site? One of the best ways to check a file as multiple scanners scan the files.

I like version 0.4. The visuals are gradually getting better with each new version. This VN is a slow burn with a lot of story about their attempts at making their lives better on the island, which IMO is fine, but if you expect very much sex you will need to be patient. An interesting story, with the various relationships gradually building.

Firstly, a disclaimer: I do not have any responsibility if you take my advice and the OP's file is indeed malicious.

However, I would take the advice of Myuhinny, who provided a better resource than Windows Defender to scan files for viruses.

I have posted this before, but will post it again, as it seems many are unaware about Windows Defender false-positive results, and how to stop their computer(s) from automatically deleting the files:

A quick way to stop this happening (I'd only suggest temporarily, for this download,) is to type into the Windows Search function Virus and Threat Protection. Click the first one.
Under "Virus & threat protection settings," click "Manage settings".
Scroll down until you find "Exclusions," then click "Add or remove exclusions".
Here you can select the option to add folders, files, or processes to be excluded from Windows Defender.
So I think in your case it would be a good idea to add whatever folder your downloaded content goes to - most commonly "C:/User/Downloads" to the exclusions and therefore prevent this issue.

That's when you pull out the .exe file and scan it as that's usually where the virus trigger is going to be in. I downloaded it extracted it and ran everything through virus total and only the .exe had 2 hits but those can easily be false positives as many renpy games will trigger virus scanners and even show up on virus total and only 2 scanners out of 69 scanners picked something up and both picked something different.

When I scan the zip on my computer with Windows Defender, it doesn't find any issues. That's with the latest version (updated this morning) 1.385.1125.0. Then, I downloaded the GoFile version and scanned it. Same thing, "No current threats."

I know that sometimes Ren'Py games will cause false alerts. All I can promise you is, I'm not intentionally trying to give you a virus or other cyber threat, and as far as I can tell, there isn't anything wrong with the zipped files.

Thanks a bunch friend. I just didn't know what to do, and then I simply excluded the particular archive after I had downloaded it once again. It let me unpack it and then I played the long awaited fourth chapter.
It was great. I love the slow-burners, and it didn't let me down this time either. Lotta love to _13_ for producing good quality games

Everything worked out alright after I was told what to do. Really loved this chapter bro! I played the entire Fosters, and one thing I love with both games is the girls look realistic in not being super models at puberty.
Most of us looked kinda weird at different stages during puberty. While I also love "Such a sharp pain" and enjoying the super pretty faces of all those girls, I do feel more grounded in this game. It feels more like
real life back in the days when I was young and sweet

this game has forced Netori not NTR. an incest game where your sis is married to someone else and has kids with him is not pretty smart when you force the player into a relationship or something similar with her. right from the start you are attached to her bc the mc played "doctor" with her when they were kids and now she kisses you with tongue, flirts with you etc without you having a say in it. so if you dislike NETORI especially in an incest game where your sis is the girl you try to steal from her husband, don't even start playing it.
