lite version is ok but no videos will load if using the full version.

I use one called Adblock for Youtube. It updates to keep up with YouTube's anti-adblock bullshit.

damn so i still gotta wait a week regardless... oh well LOL. I had access to everything before ( i had to grind out i think it was 600 or so plus originally? ). deleted the account because my now ex-wife said i shouldn't watch so much porn - she never wanted sex so ya know... solve the issue myself.

Since we are on the topic of monetization circumvention; Anyone else notice that you can no longer use archive.today for NYTimes? Back to using Reader mode for The Athletic now. Which ironically was easier anyway. I guess this had something to do with AI scrappers stealing articles from what I read.

ublock origin still works perfectly fine on YT. At least w firefox haven't had any issues in the past days/ months/ years

Yeah same here, always been using firefox + Ublock so I have never noticed these notification from youtube about it detecting ublock that people have been complaining about lately.

Only time I'll ever use a chromium web browser is if a webpage somehow breaks on firefox.

They’re probably not invested enough to update the codebase for Firefox users, who make up only about 3% (may be higher but not significant) of the overall community. They can do hard protections against ad blockers if they choose to

RIP I feel you I hope you recover anything you might've lost. Got my email hacked over a year ago by some Russian guy (I assume, all incoming emails I got after the hack were coming in a language I assumed was Russian) but was able to keep a majority of my linked accounts (whether through saving or them not getting touched at all). Only thing I had lost was my Ubisoft Connect account but thanks to changes in their Account Recovery system I got it back semi-recently.
