If you think it is bad next door, try living in the currently on-fire house. It considerably less orange outside right now, but that's just because the smoke is closer to the ground.

The northern US from the midwest to east coast is dealing with smoked out skies from Canadian wildfires in Ontario. Some areas are weirdly yellow like Blade Runner while it's completely gray and fog like in other places.

Apparently, it will be raining out a family BBQ on Saturday, but honestly, better that than have to breathe the air. Although the smoke might improve the flavour of the burgers and hot dogs.
