0°F (-18°C) though cold, isn't too bad a lowest temperature. I'd much rather take that than the lowpoint of -40°C (-40°F).

Yeah, I find myself in roughly the same climate zone as you, though we've had an unusually warm winter and a cold summer.
Our summer temperature has only broke the 20°C line twelve times spread throughout june till today.

I don't know what the fuck any of that is. Not sheletered just not into any of that anime type shit in any form. Also I'm 52 for fuck's sake. 53 in les than 5 months.

Ok, I'm not sure if this goes here, but I just want to rant for a bit, let it all out.

If anybody is interested is related to Terraria...

Terraria is one of my favourite games (I even prompted a couple images for the daily image threads related to it ), I have spended well over 3K hours on it, and over 1K of those was on the mod Calamity, so you can imagine how empty I'm feeling right now with the news that Calamity is dead.

Long story short, a couple years back its lead developer was ousted from the dev team because he was grooming minors on a nsfw discord. This didn't killed the mod at that time because that lead wasn't well liked by the community or the other devs, who considered that he was holding development back and that situation was the perfect chance to take him out of the team, so with a new lead at the helm, development continued... until yesterday, when they discovered that the new lead not only was aware of the previous lead's grooming discord, he participated on it, and unlike the previous one, the new lead was very respected by everyone, making the discovery even more painful.

After that discovery hell broke loose, everyone that helped with music, assets, etc, wanted their stuff taken out of the mod, development of some mods related to Calamity has ceased, and in the end the dev team decided to stop development completely.

And now it's uncertain if the mod will be deleted at some point or not. As for me, I already made a backup of the mod just in case.

Despite all that happened, I really enjoyed my time with this mod, and it was really sad watching it die in real time...

Yikes, that's quite the kerfuffle. Never played the Calamity mod myself though, but my nephew poured hundred of hours into it.

It was still getting upgrades, in fact its last mayor update (2.2) was in june, with a smaller balance patch released the day before the mod died.

It certainly ain't like it was like a year back. Makes backreading a whole lot easier though. Being gone for just a days or two back then meant at least 20 pages of reading. Can't really blame people though, I myself disappeared for a year.
