To me the most aggravating thing about LC is t he failure to implement a search feature. For example - while I think its awesome that Tripod just responded in the Sister in Law thread (Loved it back in the day btw) having it show up in the second slot on Games and not having the ability to simply see which games have had the latest updates is why I stopped donating to the site.

My first suggestion is to create a locked post listing all the tags and the rules for a game to receive each tag. This list would be for reference — if there already is one, I've never been able to find it even after searching.
Another suggestion is that the link to this list should be on every game post, perhaps inside a Spoiler: "Tags and Rules" where you could have links to the tags post, forum rules, and other useful links. Sorry for not providing a standard template, but work calls .

I know that fetish tags are a complicated matter, but everyone has their own — hence the need for a list that defines them for Lewd Corner.
I'm really into harem, but for me it's more than just having sex with more than three people — there's a whole context behind the fetish. I understand the need to differentiate between Harem (Shared), Harem (Japanese), and Harem (Traditional), and it ends up being one of the more common tags. Similarly, netoru (NTR) content is already divided into three: netorare (NTRR), netorase (NTS), and netori (NTL).

Harem (Traditional) — The protagonist has 3 or more simultaneous love interests, engages in consensual sex, they agree to share the protagonist, he/she stays faithful to that person, and there's an established relationship.
Harem (Shared) — The protagonist has 3 or more simultaneous love interests, engages in consensual sex, they agree to share the protagonist, and the protagonist also shares with people outside their relationship circle.
Harem (General) — The protagonist has sex with multiple different people, has multiple love interests, the interests don't know about or don't agree to sharing, and the protagonist has to choose one in the end. This encompasses all content classified as harem that doesn't fit into the more specific categories, or a mix of Harem (Shared) and Harem (Traditional). It would be a parent tag, just as netoru is a parent tag for netorase, netorare, and netori.

I tried this back when I was staff... and it was a fucking hellhole of a disaster. There used to be (I cant find it anymore) a page that I think was /tags/ that had a list of all tags and their definitions. I know, because I spent prob 30+ hours going through each based on usage (tags with the highest usage based on how many threads had that tag) and also the "popular or unpopular" ones. I would red the desc (often very generic), discuss it with people, and even toss it through AI, which was not nearly as good back then as it is now, all in attempt to clarify that stuff. The NTR ones kinda got glossed over, but after a poll I made had the "use the 3 japanese netorare/netori/netorase words and descriptions", I used those (I actually copied the ones from one of the most popular anime/japanese-game sites at the time per recommendations).

I worked hard trying to clarify some of the more abused ones, or ones that were often used when not valid (example, a game getting "twins" tag when the MCs brother's neighbor's uncle's boss knew someone who was a twin and it was mentioned, so the dev felt they could grab that tag). The point is, I cant even find the page that I spent a fuckton of time on anymore. It might not exist, but if it does, I doubt its doing much good. But that is partially due to the fact that it was so unfinished even after that much work. It would prob take like 40 threads where just a single tag or a pair of similar tags was discussed with the community to clarify what was wanted/needed to get it even 3/4th of the way "done". Cheating was another example. Does the tag mean the MC is cheating? The MC is being cheated on (wouldnt this be a NTR tag instead/also?), or some unrelated person is cheating and the MC hears about it? The Harem example was another nightmare. Talk to 50 people, and you would get 40 different versions of what should be done, and the other 10 randomly agree with one of the existing ones. And none of the 40 would accept the versions the other give.

NTR/Harem/Sharing/Cheating/Trans-andor-futa/Swinging/Rape were all big issues tags.
Besides the obvious ones, there were huge arguments on what was trans vs futa at the time. Some wanted them grouped, lots didn't. Swinging had some odd differing views too, which I didn't really understand. And oddly, rape. Just like cheating, it matters who is doing the rape or being raped. If MC is raping someone, most people are fine with that. If MC is being raped.... then it depends on if its a FeMC or MMC game. Male getting raped? Prob a lot of people against it unless its shota. FeMC getting raped? Most people into FeMC games are prob fine with this, or even expect it. So there was discussion about breaking those tags up. Cheating-MC, Cheating-LI, Cheating-Other. Rape-MC, Rape-LI, Rape-Other. As you can imagine... this just kept compounding into massive shit piles of both work and arguments.

I personally dont know about or understand the "netorare-2" thing, but I imagine at some point in time some other sucker got asked to work on the tags and ended up in the same rabbit hole I was, and thought it would help something. Or Jack decided to stop torturing his staff and did it himself. In which case, haha. I hope you suffered like I did. Just kidding. Maybe.

Long story still long because I have a mental disease that prevents me from being brief: Tags are a fucking landmine that I don't ever expect to see "Fixed" because that means 100 different things to 100 different people.

Y'all can downvote me, but I actually like the new LU. I know it's got a few bugs, but patience is key. I would rather see effort go into tag categories in LU and Booru. IE. Have NTR as a parent tag, and then the breakdowns of what kind of NTR as sub options.

What do you mean by "Games+ page"? Do you mean see "Plus" tagged games in the LU page? Or do you mean get to the Games+ forum? If the latter, I dont think there is a way, but I dont see why there would be. There are not links to the normal Games forum either. If there was, it would probably have been in here:

Are you just telling AI to rewrite the page and randomly selecting an output to test out here? I feel like every time you make a step forward, you rush to take 3 backwards.

First, took me a minute to find the newly moved "Display Options" button so I could unflatten the cards, but I thought that was because it was set at 3 per row:

But sadly, no. They are squashed even in 5 per row, which sadly... is the highest still 5. But not like I could fit much more with the huge wasted space on each side:

But now... the cards are even more useless. Cant even see tags. I was upset that we went from seeing 8+ to only seeing 4 without clicking, now we see 0. Yay! I guess the fact that we can hover over them to see them is a half step forward. Lets call it a diagonal step.

Then there is this confusing "More Filters" think which looks like I have some sort of error:

Overall, I liked the version you had about a week ago better. I don't see what you are fixing in these changes. They just seem to be random changes. I feel like you went to cursor and said "Remake this LU page by changing a bunch of things at random" and then did the same thign 4-5 times until you got a result that didnt give a 500 internal server error and BAM! SHIP IT!!

I wish you would unfix/unbreak the part where I could edit the html to make the dropdown offer 6 or 7 columns per row like it was 2 versions ago, and then step away and lock yourself out of the code. Then after accepting you were not going to change it again in 3 days, I could write myself a custom extension with css to override the page to how I actually want it. But oyu change it so often I havent even bothered to try to fix it on my side.

The old version allowed up to 10 columns, so I dont see why the new versions only allow 5:

Well, I think the version you showed me about a week ago was about 6/10. The version yesterday was about 4/10. This is... 2/10. I honestly don't want to use it because I cant have 5 cards per row without the images being so small and useless that there is no use in it. Even if it had 7 columns, I wouldnt be able to see anything.

And even if the images were not all fucked in this version, the missing tags makes this a no-go for me. Im not going to just hover over each one to see the tags. I just... cant find a single thing positive to say about this. Maybe "At least it loads?". I tried.

Fitting a decent amount per row and having tags visible were the 2 defining factors you had over F95's LU. That, and theirs has even more wasted space on the sides than yours does.

Yes, I saw your post but it was already locked. I read it and in reality there were more people trying to disrupt than help — and that doesn’t even include the idiots who only come in to insult others. It’s a shame, especially when there are people trying to do this in good faith.

I only know that kind of thing as a "Looney Toon Girl" or "Looney Toon Man"... Where I'm from, we call someone a "Looney Toon Girl" or "Man" if they're into popping balloons, that's what makes them a Looney Toon Girl or Man. :'D Nah, I'm not Jack. But I am a Jack of all trades, and I am behind the recent bot everyone calls the 'Apollo Bot', even though it's proper name is E95, and I hijacked that same code to also go through and work on fixing the >6000 posts with image issues. It won't fix this all, especially not games+ section, but it should bring it down to only ~1k games with image issues I will need to manually review to see what can be done. Then onto games+ while I also add more games...
