LewdCorner needs to improve.

Not just a little. I want the site to become far better overall cleaner, more useful, more active, easier to understand, and better for the people who actually use it.
This thread is for serious feedback, ideas, suggestions, complaints, and offers to help. (i will kick you from the thread if you go off topic.)
If you have thoughts about the site, the games sections, the shop system, ranks, credits, uploads, layout, features, rules, or anything else, post it here.

1. Game Section Contributions

One of the biggest things I want to figure out is how to get more contribution and activity in the game sections.
Right now, I want feedback on things like:

• What would make you more likely to post game updates?
• What would make you more likely to share content?
• Are the game sections too confusing?
• Are the rules unclear?
• Do we need better rewards for contributors?
• Should certain sections be reorganized?
• Should uploaders/contributors get more visible perks?
• Should there be weekly/monthly contributor rewards?
• Should we add badges, credits, ranks for useful posts?

I want the game areas to feel alive again, not just like sections people browse silently.
If you upload, update threads, help organize content, report dead links, improve tags, or help keep sections clean, I want to know what would make that better for you.

2. Python Developers Needed

I am also looking for Python developers.
Specifically, I need people who can help with bot development for LewdCorner.
If you know Python and can work on bots, automation, site tools, forum utilities, scraping/parsing, organization tools, or anything similar, please contact me.

Please include what you can do, examples of past work if you have any, and whether you are looking to help.

3. Shop System Feedback

I also need feedback on the shop system.
Tell me what is good, what is bad, what feels pointless, what feels overpriced, what should be added, and what should be removed.
Some things I want feedback on:

• Are the current shop items useful?
• Are prices fair?
• Should credits be easier to earn?
• Should there be more cosmetic items?
• Should there be more account upgrades?
• Should contributors get shop discounts or bonus credits?
• Should there be limited-time items?
• Should certain perks be moved into the shop?
• Should the shop be simplified?
• Should the shop page be redesigned?

If the shop feels dead, confusing, useless, overpriced, or boring, say that.
I would rather hear blunt feedback than have people silently ignore it.

4. General LewdCorner Improvements

This is the big one.
I want LewdCorner to be better in general.
Post anything you think would improve the site, including:

• Homepage changes
• Forum layout changes
• Game section changes
• Rules cleanup
• Rank changes
• Donation/reward changes
• Uploader/contributor perks
• Better navigation
• Better search/filtering
• Better latest updates
• Better mobile layout
• Better theme/design changes
• Better notices/announcements
• Better moderation tools
• Better user rewards
• Better organization for content
• Anything that makes the site less annoying to use

Nothing is too small.
If a button is annoying, say it.
If a section is confusing, say it.
If something looks outdated, say it.
If something should be removed, say it.
If another site does something better, explain what they do better.

I can only think about 1 thing I personally would like to have both in the Games and Games+ section, that would be to show either when that game was posted or last updated in the main page where all the games are, mainly because right now it only shows when was the last time someone commented and it's happened before that people see a game that hasn't been updated in a while show up in page 1 and they go in thinking it was updated just to see a comment saying "great game".

Sadly I don't know anything about coding or anything so I can't help with actually programing that but I'll leave it here as a sugestion.

Just as I was writing that I though about 1 more thing, most people don't really know what makes a game go in Games+ instead of just Games and I think that stops people from posting "new" games, and that's because there are games with the "loli" tag and other """special""" tags in the Games page, so maybe have some kind of message or banner or something saying like "Games with X/Y/Z content should be posted in the Games+ section" just so people have a more clear understanding about what's the real difference between Games and Games+.

im not sure a lot of games on LC would warrant adding Godot engine as i dont think we have a lot of games with Godot.

There are definitely a decent number of them. It's not as widely used as Ren'Py and RPG Maker, but there are already engine prefixes for some rarely-used engines (e.g. QSP), and in the tag department there are plenty of tags that are rarely used. In some sense, being able to search for a rare thing is actually more useful than a common thing, since without being able to search, it's nontrivial to find it if that's what you're into.

Thanks. For what it's worth, if there are concerns about the effort involved in finding the relevant games that have already been uploaded, I'm happy to flag any such games as I run across them.

This was brought up in another thread a few days ago, but I think you need some way to really shift the majority of the discussion on the site to be about games, (and a lot more within the game threads themselves). As much as I dislike f95 their game threads are 100x more informative because of the pages of responses. I think people who upload games, and people who leave detailed reviews should be rewarded. (Idk how you prevent someone from just doing some ai BS summary about a game though)

my thoughts are decrease everywhere but games/games+ and increase games/games+ for credits earned, the issue is spam and shit as well as i currently cant get review and credits to play nicely.

I'm really new to this site, and while I'm just not yet used to lay outs I'm not the biggest fan of the games thread, what I mean is I like when you first open it, and all the games have decent sized previews that gives ya a bit of info, but what I'm not crazy about is when you click into a game, and then click a tag, it shows you a list of normal threads, I have no experience with web design or coding or any of that, I wouldn't even know where to begin with it, but I think it would be nice to have the layout be something similar to what 95 has, the ability to search by tags, prevent tags all with the previews that are currently in the main thread Y'know? I honestly think that's just because I'm so used to it and change is hard for me.

Coins, I honestly really like the idea of the coin system and I personally don't think they are too hard to earn currently, I personally wouldn't say no to a slight buff, but then again I'm just excited to get M+ lol, I also really like the idea of the mining system, it reminds me of an old discord bot I used to have, buying miners, collecting currency, upgrading the miners, getting silly little perks or rewards, I know you currently use the miners to get LC and if I understand it right they are currently in a bit of a limbo right now, but an idea you could do is set the miners to their own currency and turn it into a game, with tiered prizes like badges and such, something to play with instead of like... just using it for your LC generation instead of participating in the site, I doubt people would agree with me at all and I'm 100% sure I'm in the major minority about this.

Participating in threads to earn coins feels nice, though I totally get the lurkers, some people just don't want to participate and only want their downloads, I get it, that's how I am on 95, I've posted more on this site in the last 3 days than I have in the last 8 years over there lol, but maybe you could think about adding some sort of loyalty or quest system? log in daily and earn some bonus coins, participate in X amount of threads, earn some bonus coins, maybe some sort of streak system, log in 1 day 1 coin, log in 2 days 2 coins, up to maybe a weekly bonus, same with participation, although I'm unsure how to prevent people just spamming for said bonuses, maybe M+ only to prevent new accounts spamming them?.

I honestly don't know what could be done with ranks, as besides M+ I have no clue what any other rank does so I really don't have an opinion on them.

Sadly I don't have any ideas on how to attract game devs or contributors, special perks sound nice, but the hard part is thinking up perks that are worthwhile and meaningful, also don't want to attract bad actors or people that would upload one game for a perk and then no longer contribute, maybe a special contributor only currency you earn through uploading games? might work if non uploaders don't get jealous, could just make it so upload credit is more valuable than LC so everyone can buy the same stuff but uploaders have it a bit easier?

Sorry for rambling and I hope my post isn't complete trash or off topic at all, and maybe I could spark an idea or 2, I hope you get some awesome ideas though, I'd love to see this place shine.

Still waiting for mine to be returned, or were your promises to give back what you took away just another lie? This place is just one massive scam at this point, what the hell did I support this site for except to watch you "accidentally" delete 60% of user content, repeatedly delete everyone's earned inventories, and now delete the only reward I got for throwing REAL MONEY at this website. You throw back indifferent one word answers to any complaint, ignore what you don't want to respond to, and ban or block anyone who challenges you.

donation coins are not deleted, i am reworking on reclaim button on the donation page, as for returning illgotten credits i am not doing that.

I actually like the game rating system. There was some talk a while back about it not being useful, but I would rate more if it got a coin or two. The rating system may have to be more than good or bad since there are so many varying tastes here, but there are a choice few tags that many look for that could each have their own star rating. I like the latest "Latest Updates" but it does feel different, somehow not as big. Maybe too many choices, maybe just competing with the art section. That was a big change but I don't think it's going away, I login just to see what new there since we seem to be in a game drought anyway. Overall, I like the changes and direction as a whole, maybe just slow down, if that's even possible. Give us time to complain, that's really why we're here anyway, right?

You should ride off loli from m+ and vip sections, I know that there are people here only for that content but man, really? There is a line when they became disturbing and that line has been crossed.
I'm not talking about games+ but AI contents, there are tons of kinks out there but only once is abused here and the fact that we have to enjoy public threads to unlock ranks and then see that shit is a big problem here.
I'd preferred sing up, view games+ from the start and ignore whatever is happening there, but no, we are forced to create content in public threads for days even if we are here only for games and nothing else.

So, this is why games' threads are so low active:

1. Users that are looking for games can find them more updated and without a wall somewhere else online
2. Users that are looking for games+ lost interest when they are forced to became ai content addicted to unlock ranks
3. Users that are for loli will be more attracted by other threads daily updated

Point 2 is what happened to me, I was here to see what games+ were here, then I enjoyed AI images in public threads and I'm now disappointed because I'm feeling wrong when I see ranked content.

It's up to you if you want remain a forum driven by loli content or if you want became a forum driven by nsfw games.

I know that nobody will like what I have to say but that's my feedback and it's not against you or your kink, I'm only describing my opinion on what is ruining this place.
Now, feel free to ignores my feedback, this is only the opinion of someone comes here to get horny but then felt weird instead.

About python script you can do it by yourself, I'm saying that because you keep looking for a dev but you can do it easily with few guides online, the tricky part is that if the other sources use countermeasures you can't bypass them, my suggestion is run it only on your side, produce a json of all missing attachments per OP threads and manually fix them.
The real problem is that gamers are updated on different sources and you should follow all of them or lurking from other forums and this is a tricky job to do and not so fine when others are working so hard to keep their sources updated. Others have users real interested into games, not distracted by other shit and that's why their threads are more alive.

Plus, here there is no culture about compressed games, all renpy and rpgm games can have their size optimised but here nobody care.
I'm one of them that play games and not comment, I do it only when there is some bug, fix or workaround to say, but a big problem here is that users are motivated to create game threads but not in keep them updated, plus consider that I reported 10-20 updates, most of all rejected because I linked the official paywalled source but yet leaked online.
Then no rewards, no update, only time wasted and I stop to report updates.
Why should I look at other forum, compare your games, report them as outdated if I can earn more coins by replying in the thread? So yes you should consider rewards for things like that.

There is also an issue about games+ because they are not listed in the latest updates page.
