Attached is the files needed to convert the linux build in the OP to run on windows. You are required to download the linux port of the game as its /game folder is needed.new link fpr pc please!
You forgot the game!!!!!!, lib and renpy still included, but not the game folderdelete or move the games current /lib and /renpy folders and unzip this to replace them. they are the unmodified folders from a renpy 8.0.3 sdk install along with the generic windows launcher (all windows renpy games use the same executable for the same version of the sdk). No modifications to the /game itself are needed and it appears to run fine on windows with only the missing libs from the provided zip

Have you experimented with FHD at all to see the size difference? Just curious what kind of space it might save. Before the latest update, I was using full png images. With this newest update I now use lossless .webp format for many of the game images. The android version uses a lossy version with a quality of 95 for it. It did go from around almost 9 GBs down to 5 something GBs. Too much compression will ruin the quality. The reason why the images are big is that I use a bigger native resolution for my game instead of just FHD.
Native resolution is 2560 x 1440.
"Most PC games" that fall into your list are made with engines or environments that require almost an entirely new game to be written or MASSIVE changes to make them work on different operating systems. Renpy does not. You literally check another box and upload another file. 3 minutes of work on your end.We have people deciding to shit on the games because I don't make windows builds. Even some of the comments have been out of spite because of it. It's hypocritcal of them because Most PC games are for Windows and remain Windows exclusives. I can expect this attitude from windows users to continue on. Most of stupid remarks are because of the non windows builds, this type of behavior I have not seen from users on itchio.
4k would be braindead stupid. There is no photo realistic level graphics in this game so there would be no loss of quality even if the images were only 720p. You're using 4x the file size to get absolutely zero additional qualityI haven't done any FHD experiments, I've been meaning to get around to full 4K but it looks like KKS and Chara Studio only go as far as QHD.
What is the name of the game in your image?
