It's usually that shitty "American cheese" which tastes little different from what it is packaged in.Can't stand melted cheese!!!!!Could never live in USA for that reason alone.. And when I say melted cheese, i mean not shredded on like a pizza.. the taste,smell and texture is then different,but mean whole cheese like in "ham and cheese" and cheese sandwich.. can't stand it..
Fondue was a big thing in the 1970s in the US My parents still have a set in the attic I think - in that nasty-ass avocado green color that was popular then (when I was a kid, the fridge, stove, toaster, dishwasher and popcorn popper were that color. If you're too young to know what a popcorn popper is, ask your parents. Or maybe grandparents at this point.Pleaaase, cured Manchego cheese anytime! Also, a good fondue is a nice cholesterol delivery system that's impossible to resist!
