I think about this a lot, but for now what comes into my head when I think about it here is a game that is very close to last of us. I'm a huge Sarah Miller fan and I love almost every animator that makes videos of her, so I've always fantasized a Last of Us game world that is closer to a Sim Life Survival gameplay. You could start your journey at any time of the apocalypse and build your current family, like Sims. You could choose your societal status and that could greatly benefit you in the long run, or increase the chances of being robbed or bad events if you were a rich family before the apocalyptic life...

With that, I think the Fallout/Elder Scrolls NPC and Choice system built in would make that game feel more lively. A choices matter, post apocalyptic zombie life sim survival game! With bad events, or if you want a hero play through, you can do that too. I mention my love for Sarah Miller and the animators that has worked with her model because I imagine the in game animations and movies would be a lot like Lesdias, KDE, Selfdrillings and Irispoplar. I've even wanted to try learning Twine and making an HTML game with all of those animations, but out of respect for the animators, I didn't want to cross any of those lines.

a game that everyone would like. so 1 game, different style's, many routes, many choises.. also able to linear the game XD

and why is that?
More complex games take longer and when you add in multiple art styles onto that you kind of explode the time needed to do anything. Look at Legend of Opala for an example of what happens when you try to go for an open ended game with multiple art styles. Lots of resources can only get you so far when you wind up having to wait on artists.

if you read properly, it said Unlimited resources, not "lots". so if i had Unlimited, i would hire groups with expertise on thing, example, people who can make VN with the storytelling, or a group that makes it with Unity... With Unlimited recourses, sky is the limit. atleast i ain't short minded ;)

If I had an army of devs and unlimited resources I'd have them complete the games that were awesome but abandoned, and after that make them finish all the ones that are stuck in the ridiculously long update cycles lol. Then everyone would be happy:D

Interesting idea, but wouldn't it require you to deal with other devs to work on their games? I bet it would be unique experience. And if we'll take not only indie games, but others - I heard, that some companies can be shitty to negotiate with (especially big ones).

I was thinking more along the lines of just taking the games from them and finishing it ourselves. If I had a huge (or unlimited) budget I'm sure I could just outright buy most games of the indie devs, I doubt they could say no to life changing amounts of money for a game they don't pay attention to anymore. The companies would probably be the one hold up with all the legalities and copyrights. At that point, I wouldn't even bother lol

Single player open world Vampire game like GTA, but the World of Darkness / White Wolf world, with realistic simulations and endless replayability, daily functions like a cozy game, but biting necks and having sex with mortals and immortals alike. With future expansions based on Werewolf, Mage, Hunter, etc. I want to be able to live there.

You can always make new games "inspired from" the ones in development hell.

That's true, but original thought of Garbolin was about "completing" said games - and it was kinda my thought about that idea. Inspirations are a good attempt to circumvent shitty/greedy developers, but they still need to be created from the very beginning.

If i had the talent and resources i would create Lolimania. Basically every loli from Anime and video games all in one game ready and willing to fuck the shit out of you.

such a game exist...

You're given a full team - no. Several teams of competent programmers, artists, game designers, the litteral budget of GTA 6 (+5$ for the coffee). And a device that can alter space and time.

The whole video games industry in your hands, with only one request: plz give us good lewd time

Which H game(s) would you create?

Of course it can also be more modest projects.
I would create an open world for sure - something along the lines of the SIMS - so that you could interact with a lot of people through side stories and mini-plots, but I would create to have a main plot... it would be called Bonetown - and there would be, of course, a main character - you should be able to pick from several (I would emulate GTA protagonists like: Michael De Santa (a rich guy who likes young girls and uses his money to bang them), Trevor Philips (who is not rich, but is more of a malevolent figure who takes what he wants), so you can play through several times with completely different characters who would have different story lines/outcomes.
I would want - as someone already pointed out - to have the artist be of top quality, but I would also make sure that not all girls have the biggest tits in the world, with huge asses that look like they aren't even real. I would have girls with normal bodies (no fatties though - maybe a little fluff, but not BIG) - young (duh), but I would give them agency (not be walking robots, wanting to blow everyone constantly) - and I would have a lot of animations for the sex scenes - I mean still images are ok, but a bit of action is SO much better... I would also give choices for foreplay, petting, intimacy, sexual positions, the character would have to make choices based on the girl and based on their own personality (like Michael would be softer whereas Trevor would just slam their head into his crotch) - this would make it again, a better play again game... but through it all the character would have to do certain things that would feed into the overall storyline (what are the goals, what do you attain - I like the idea of levels as you go up in levels you get more girls, money, get certain things - maybe better clothing, cars, etc. so you can attract more people.
But you could also be penalized - like GTA if you get in trouble (say you sodomize a neighbor's daughter who is under age), the police will look for you and if you are found you go to jail or you do some time in prison (where there may be a whole different sexual awakening - hahaha)... this would reduce your points, bring you down levels and take away some of your bling. But you can be rewarded, say you beat up someone who is sodomizing the neighbor's daughter, you could get money from the family, maybe you can have a go at the daughter and you are now leveled up... it's all choices - I love choice-based games that have definite outcomes - especially when it comes to sex or manipulation (oh there would be plenty of manipulation in the game - how you talk to someone changes what they will give you or do for you (or to you!)

That would be my start anyway.... ;)

As I hope you can tell, I love games.

nah that is nothing of the scale i am talking about. that game you mentioned has what 10-15 of the most popular hebe and adults in anime, and zero from video games and also zero true lolis. It is nothing like what i said i would create.

So, many interesting concepts so far (can't give (y) to everyone cuz 30 sec delay...)

But I noticed these are mainly concepts, and don't go in depth at "what would it feel like playing it" - and imo what is lacking in h games now is gameplay

Many of us here have their own culture, so what would it be like to play "elden ring but porn", or "world of warcraft but porn" - I'm not a huge fan of fighting games, but let's say "street fighter but porn"

I'd like to put the emphasis on gameplay because it's the main signature of many game genres, and potentially what makes people stay for years (when poor balancing or trolls or cheaters don't get too much in the way ofc lol)

With unlimited ressources - Which H game would you create

O ChatGPT disse:
If by “H game” you mean a hentai/adult game, and we're assuming essentially unlimited budget/resources, I'd go for something much more ambitious than a conventional VN or RPG.

My dream concept: Elysium — An Adult Open-World RPG
A huge, fully simulated fantasy world where the adult content is part of the world and relationships, rather than the entire gameplay loop.

Open world: Several interconnected kingdoms, cities, wilderness regions, islands, underground civilizations, etc.
Deep characters: Hundreds of NPCs with their own personalities, goals, relationships, jobs, memories, and evolving opinions of the player.
Relationship system: Romance, friendship, rivalry, jealousy, breakups, polyamorous relationships, marriage, and consequences—entirely between consenting adults.
Player agency: Your character can be a warrior, mage, merchant, rogue, noble, adventurer, or basically whatever build you want.
Adult content: Highly customizable, opt-in intimate scenes tied to established relationships rather than random encounters.
AI-driven dialogue: Characters remember what you've done and adapt their behavior, while keeping strict boundaries and consent systems.
AAA production: Motion capture, orchestral soundtrack, cinematic cutscenes, high-end facial animation, enormous environments.
Simulation: The world continues while you're away. NPCs form relationships, change careers, move cities, have conflicts, and pursue their own ambitions.
Modding: An official toolkit allowing players to create quests, characters, locations, outfits, animations, and stories.
VR support: Optional immersive mode, but the normal game would be fully playable without VR.
The really interesting part would be making it feel like a genuine RPG first and an adult game second. The player should be able to spend 100 hours exploring the world and developing relationships without the game constantly screaming “SEX SCENE AVAILABLE!”

With unlimited resources, I'd probably make the relationship/NPC simulation the technological centerpiece—something approaching The Sims + Baldur's Gate 3 + Cyberpunk 2077, but specifically designed around mature romance.

What if I just use the resources to finish some of my favorite games that are either ongoing or abandoned? Or add some stuff (like routes for some characters that are not included in the main game)
