Games kind of force me to build up to it slowly by either going through the non-sexy bits of a story or by figuring out the mechanics of non-story game. I guess porn games are a rate limiter for me.

I enjoy visual novels because a story or situation can be way sexier than porn. The art style barely matters - it's games with good writing that are truly hard to find, but totally worth it when you do.
