It's in a few I played, was a major scene in one. Always Fan has it, Project Myriam has a small part and Secret Summer had it. Not something I'd ever do, so it kind of puts me out of the mood.

Actually doing it - dressing like cartoon characters or whatever - is for nerds. And it's mostly guys actually do it IRL.

There are more and more people that are not "nerds" getting into cosplay and dressing up for events and such. As it is becoming a more commonly seen activity and it is also easier then ever to find a inexpensive costume for just about any character you could want from popular IPs.
