For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward. I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward. - Jack Of Blades

Neither of these, they're all laggy, free and unoptimized, you won't make a cool game with opened world, complexed animations which won't lag-freeze or crash in random places.

For me renpy, it's simple and straightforward, I'm not looking for more

renpy was probably the best as i play on a pc with little performance

Renpy, but there are some Unity games that I really like

RenPy is the best

RenPy for VNs, Unity for 2.5D games like Shadows of the Shogun and Desperados 3.

Ren'Py, no doubt.
For art style DAZ and VAM.

Ren'Py and Unity.

EDIT: Unreal Engine too.

If it doesn't have any kind of gameplay at all then renpy, if it does, please anything but renpy.

Can I say Unreal?

Definitely Ren'py, also RPGM.
Sometimes I'll play Unity games but my PC is shit, not even mentioning Unreal Engine.

Unreal mostly, it really depends on the game scope and target.

Porn games? Ren'Py for sure.
Never played any VN that wouldn't be better if it was on Ren'Py and had it's QoL features and ease to mod.
