Which game engine do you hate?

Games with no win scenarios and ones that waste your time with tedious mini-games or movement mechanics. I just stop playing them. One of the worst culprits I don't think is here and I wont say the name, but the kid dies at the end and there is pretty much nothing you can do about it. Plus, the mini-games are tedious and pointless (though they do tie into the narrative in a way). I will never play a game by that developer again unless people tell me he has changed the mechanics. The sex in the game was also pointless. it was only there to lure in players IMO. It had zero effect or purpose.

Unity is so fucking bad for VNs. It's rare the games that can pull it

RPGM - I just can't get into these. I've tried but haven't found one that keeps me.

unity, it starts slow. The UI is often not very useable. I like renpy, because you can extract the files and mostly have the option to skip text and go back. I haven't seen that in any unity game yet. Some attempts but that's all...

HTML, RPGM.

For me in terms of language because my native language is not English, so for me the graphics engines that I hate the most are: ALL except ren'py, I use very simple translation software and this helps me a lot to enjoy the atmosphere of game I'm playing.

Yup, RPGM for me as well. It always feels so clunky to actually play anything built on it, and that includes actually RPGs. It's an old outdated engine.

RPGM or wolf rpg. if it were 2010, np. 2025? bruh. doesnt help that most games that r on that platform r either complete ass, borderline unplayable, or sm weird ass japanese shit

Unity because of the following -
1 - I don't trust the company who owns the engine after their last stunt (anyone remember that?).
2 - Unity games are a real pain in the ass to translate.
3 - Read number 1 again! have a nice day.

RPGM, because I think that somehow all the games look the same and you don't feel like trying one even if it's attractive.

QSP. I'm not sure why anyone still uses it. It's a shame since there are some games around that I think I might have actually enjoyed if they were on any other engine.

I don't know about the trick, my friend, but as for translating, there is "SetupReiPatcherAndAutoTranslator" that helps you translate almost any Unity game.

RPGM, QSP, Unity

I just hate the grindy parts of all RPGM's. Like i love puzzles but sometimes too many puzzles can kill your game and RPGM's are a prime ex of that. Very few pull it off.

Unity, I have had several cases where the game will just crash for no reason at all and it annoys the hell outa me.

QSP This one i have just been told to stay away from, from other dev's. Didn't ask why but if they say stay away from it you better your ass ima do that.
