Is good to build some story/tension between the characters but if it takes too long to have a sex scene the game coulb become a crap, like a Wife and a Mother.
another thing i hate is when the use sex scenes in dreams... that kills the atmosphere

I like Harem with equal positions in the relationship, of course there is one main girl. But I don't like the side chick who can't be in the harem hate that. I'm fine with a side piece that joins the harem though.

I think it can be a good preview of the quality scenes you can get. One of the best is imo was A House in the Rift which starts out with a nice scene but then you have to work for it afterwards. Was also kind of amusing

I agree thats one of the reasons why I usually wait instead of playing the first version of these games because a lot of the times I'm here for the sex scenes. So to me it doesnt really matter as long as the writing and quality is there.

I love sex scenes in my porn games. My only issue is if they are using non-family members as a wedge to slow down the progression for the incest content.
That said, if that character is helping you towards incestuous relationships then hell yeah.

I don't really mind, I'm pretty used to it. I don't know if it is a coincidence, but pretty much every game I play works like that, and it doesn't even have to be incest, but even in games that you have a "main" main LI, the sex with her is always delayed.
Dating My Daughter it takes a while for sex with taughter. My Bully is my Lover, it takes a while for sex with Aine, and you have sex with a bunch of girls before her. Stray Incubus, sex with Anabelle is literally the last sex scene of the first season. So on, and so forth.

I don't mind side girls, but they have to stick around, preferably to have SOME sort of relationship, even if it is just fuck-buddies or whatever. I'm not real big on one-offs unless it is for a specific story-related reason.

i dont mind some sort of tease in a game but it has to actually pay off quick enough to retain attention in this case it wouldnt really make sense to start out doing stuff with your family its more normal to get a girlfriend

I'm fine with it as long as it's not too out of nowhere like a random fuck of a stranger. That contributes nothing to the plot. But, giving you a sex scene with a more minor character that had some context is fine.

To be honest, I don't like the first sex scene to be the main incest character as it may be a short VN or a VN with NTR possibility. This might sound a bit hypocrite but if the first erotic scene is with the main character, be it by accident or exploring each other, then I believe it's a good start to kick off the relationship. With this, there will be drama when you go and suddenly bang side chicks because you have awakened your inner self and could not restrain it. I totally understand the unnecessity of first sex scene with side character though.

I agree with you, a side character at the beginning that is not part of the family seems more like a throwaway character but I also see it as kind of a warmup of whats to come.

I don't mind it at all. The best case scenario is actually the MC finding a perverted ride or die GF who helps him seduce other women, this could include his family as well.

Aa others have pointed out. I don't see it wrong when it's more than likely just there as something to showcase for your update(a). It's kinda like when a tv series adds like a sex scene in the first episode just to keep viewers. Obviously not the same thing.

Would be interesting if there are games that don't do that. Hmmm but then again there's also games that just make said sex scene a choice anyways.
