discussion What's your take on incest games that have a side girl as the first sex scene?

I don't mind side characters, but if the game is meant to be an incest game I want the focus to be on developing that relationship.
Jumping between side characters until the dev release that update with 'the event' that starts the incest pipeline really takes me out of the game.

I dislike this trope when the family starts treating the MC like he's a virgin and he's responding like he's so desperately horny that he's looking at them in a whole new light-- meanwhile he just smashed the mom's best friend and his teacher.

It's scary that if you include a third person, you'll focus on that character and your family events won't come, so it's better to have as few as possible.

as long as it isn't a throwaway character it doesn't bother me too much tho I'd prefer it to be one of the family members if the game is focused on incest as it's main thing

I have no problem with the side girl being the first sex scene but I don't like it when the game makes her be the real love interest over the others

Seems a lot of devs would make incest games, but they don't want to give you the incest sex scene too early. So they add in side girls to give you quick to get to sex scenes.

Thoughts? My personal opinion is that it's done to give you a throwaway character to try and keep your interest in the game, but it's not why i'm there for it. I'm a patient man and can wait a few chapter for the sex, so long as the build up is good and we get into close call situations until we get there. Adding characters just to be a quick sex attention grabber feels cheap to me.

I don't mind it usually and I just think it would be best if every event was optional and avoidable. Games where you can give a cold shoulder reply or just not show interest and then you don't get the offer for sex are better than games where it puts it in your face and you have to turn it down after that.

Build up with main chars is more fun, so make sense to put some random in early to make sure it isn't just exposition.

I don't mind it. This type of games usually make you work for the incest, like corrupting her and stuff. Very little games alreay come with some kind of relationship from before (like Desert Stalker).

Think of it this way.... You find a game which have two to three chapters, with good premise and graphics and everything but you got to know that there is no sex scene? Will you still play it? Or wait for it to have those?

The answer lies there.

Depends on the writing. I don't mind it, it gives an indicator on how well the author can do sex scenes.
