I can totally see why it feels like some devs are milking the fans with unfinished games getting remade or re-released, especially when they haven't addressed core issues yet. It can be frustrating when the focus seems to shift to remakes or “deluxe” versions rather than finishing or improving the original game.
That said, some remakes do a lot to improve on technical aspects, expand the story, or fix bugs — and in those cases, it can be worth it. It’s a tough balance because a remake shouldn’t come at the cost of not finishing what was started. If the remake enhances the game and brings in new players while also satisfying the old ones, then it’s usually a win.
