A nice thick slice of white bread. Not the American kind though (haven't tried it).

Where my fellow yeasty bois at?
Ciabatta as a bread was invented in 1987 and it's my favorite bread for literally any occasion. Snacks, fancy plates, sammiches, oil transfer device. All hail Ciabatta
My favorite is sourdough, but I make ciabatta once or twice a month.
I would make sourdough but I don't care about it enough to maintain a starter.

Any of em as long as they are toasted and have garlic butter smeared all over it.
A kindred spirit!

But were I given a choice... garlic butter bread bites with marinara to dip it in.

I don't really mind as I am now so I usually get plain white with a few exceptions every once and a while but this thread has really piqued my interest. I might take a plunge down the bread hole sometime soon.

Never really thought of that. I don't think garlic bread counts, as it seems more like a dish made of bread (at least in my country it's just normal bread with a garlic condiment on the grill/oven). So I guess I choose potato bread or Outback's australian bread.

there so many good breads to pick from that I cant decide, but if we are only talking about store sliced breads then I would pick "Turano Pane Italian Bread"

Toasted rye bread with a bit of turkey and swiss cheese and some spicy mustard.
