Where my fellow yeasty bois at?
Ciabatta as a bread was invented in 1987 and it's my favorite bread for literally any occasion. Snacks, fancy plates, sammiches, oil transfer device. All hail Ciabatta

Sourdough. In general the US has shit bread, but I grew up in California and Alaska, both of which are famous for their sourdough.

oooooh yeah, Sourdough is a close second for me. Take a whole loaf and fill it with my favorite chowder and I'm in heaven.

Ya'll heard the song Bread by Anya Nami yet? You should go listen to it hhahaha
Currently I really love Ciabatta though

Russian Rye makes some good sammiches.

a good wholemeal or wholegrain sandwich bread is my usual go to for the health benefits.
can't go wrong with a good baguette, especially in a good Vietnamese Banh Mi. Alternatively, it makes for a good improvised weapon.
Brioche is fantastic in the morning with a good coffee.
ya'll ever try a good garlic Naan with some nice curry?
ciabatta goes pretty darn well with soup.
and we all know garlic bread is the GOAT

Lovely picks! I would like to add the buttery, flaky croissant to the roster, if I may

i wanted to add that, but i feel like croissants would be defined as more of a pastry and not a bread. still an amazing treat.

toasted whole grain bread with strawberry jam at breakfast... sour dough bread for a roast beef sandwich for lunch... thick texas toast buttered for my salad or steak dinner or pasta dish

Any of em as long as they are toasted and have garlic butter smeared all over it.

Proper sourdough rye bread is the best.
