Turned out none were nasty or erotic. Closest was perfume (or cologne - you could pick a male or female MC, and nothing gay. It WAS the 1980s...) From Infocom. Same one that made theZork games, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy game, etc.
Well I guess it would be Leisure Suit Larry from Sierra back in the late 80s. They are hilariously funny games. As far as modern VN's I think it was Parental Love or Man of the House. I liked both of them and have been a VN fan since.
