Not counting the old Commodore 64 ones (when I wasn't QUITE an adult,) I looked at the games section under porn on The Pirate Bay, then found some on Patreon, including free ones by dev. Then Fuck95, been banned there a few times, get new ID every time. The All The Fucktards - they ban quick and they go out of their way to look at IP addresses, etc to keep banned members from making new IDs. Criticizing the moderation is considered "spam" in a thread they have for moderation feedback. Like something from North Korea. Finally found this site a while back and it's the good one. Just could use a search function for games like Fuck95 has. Note I typed the names out, didn't get autochanged, LOL.

First adult games I got were from a Humble or Indiegala bundle, but I was too embarrassed to add them to my steam library. However the desire to play them never went away. Eventually stumbled across Double Homework, maybe through reddit, and never looked back

those Create your own adventures type games that goblin boy was making way back like meteor and such. then prob hentai high school 1. some of those old pre f95 games had a much better vibe about them the writing was so much more raunchy.

Wow. I feel old. The first adult game I (unknowingly) played was Fate/Stay Night (And I hate to be THAT guy, but for those who don't know, Fate was one of Type Moons EROGE, It later got sanitized for a PS2 launch, but it was originally a AVN)

It has been so long that I can't remember for sure, but it was probably Type-Moon's Fate/Stay Night. I didn't even know it was an adult visual novel at first. I was in it for the story, which is great.
