We all ended up playing it via word of mouth. That happened to be porn. Then I googled other Japanese RPGs and tried them. Was Big Brother that big of a game (in this section of the internet)? I think it was one of my first, could well have been my first, but it was too confusing progress-wise that I quit and looked for other games.

It wasn't in any way a good game but it was probably the most popular sandbox porn game at the time. If it wasn't for that game, I doubt we would be seeing all these games now. The amount of money the dev was making led to people trying to replicate his income on Patreon by flooding it with incest VNs and eventually, card companies got scared and incest got banned. It definitely holds some cult status

Interesting. He really does try milk the game himself, I would too. I think he's made like 4 remakes.

I tried one game and played it for like 3 minutes (I think it was a management and turnbased combat game), wasn't a fan. I never went back since I found VN's, so I can't recommend anything.

I can't remember what I was looking for but stumbled across some flash games, enjoyed those for a bit until I found full games. Started writing my on vn at some point and finally got a pc to start rendering. Still having fun playing, writing and rendering games.
