as for real non browser games oldest i remember is summertime saga (i know it's not the first but the other ones i only vaguely remember)

embarrasingly probably high tail hall...but first vn was definitely summer in the city. that one is really fun and has some cute characters and is fairly vanilla. so a good way to start, honestly

Sexy Beach 3. I would sneak into my big brother's room and play it on his computer before he got home from school. I could not figure out why he liked it so much. I thought it was just pretty girls playing on the beach. Ahhh, the innocence of youth.
