I was told to speak up when my co workers were being mistreated by management. Sure enough I did and no one backed me up. I looked like and idiot because everyone else kept their mouths shut.

Advice to get a university education. If I worked now as a skilled worker (welder, fitter, turner), I would earn 2.5 - 3 times more than I do now working as a design engineer.

Same thing. I went to the best high school in my city just to get a head start in college, it didn't matter at all and all I got from being "among the best" is very good grade on maturity exam that means shit and zero practical skills that would help me in college or any job.

during my first divorce, my lawyer said (under his breath while reading accusations against me):

this would have been much easier if you killed her..................

well, it's now 23 years later & i've been out for the last 6, no I'm not getting married again & no, i'm never going to listen to a lawyer.
