you know funnily enough, i agree. i have had games i felt were 9's or 10's and then it quickly turns to a 2 or 3 because a voice that clearly doesn't fit(almost like a anime being voiced by hs students with no after effects) there ofc are a few times where the voice is a great match and it boosts the game a few points but overwhelmingly it would be better to have no voice than bad voice options. i like some of the jap games where you can turn off the voices of specific characters that have a nails on chalkboard effect.

Seriously, I have to agree I can get into pretty much anything if the writing gives me a compelling reason.
