A new cleanup update has been posted covering the recent Vault rework, rank changes, policy cleanup, and theme polish.
The goal is to make LC cleaner, easier to understand, and safer for the site going forward.

Normal updates. The idea of slower but better updates is nice, but there's a point where I'll simply forget about the story or lose all the momentum it had built up. So much so that I rarely play those kind of games anymore, because I can't enjoy the story if I don't remember half of it and playing it all over again everytime isn't much better.
Ideally I want fast updates, but most of the time fast updates lead to low quality updates. Therefore I prefer slow updates that let the developer create high quality content, and unfortunately the developers that have great pride in their work have even slower updates that most games, 6-8 or more months in between updates.
As much as I agree with the downside and all of the shit I've said about:
Guilty Pleasure [Quonix] Grandma's House [Moonbox]
I cannot fault their release schedule.
I'm glad some of you like the opposite. I hope you enjoy it, truly. But the 1-2 (massive, granted) release a year titles are slowly dropping off my list.
I'd prefer slow updates, but normal is fine, too.
I just don't like super fast updates where there's very little content. Sometimes I'll start a game and barely anything happens at the end of the update.
Strange numbers. I consider games dead if there is no update after 3 months.
And i dislike 10 minute playtime updates. A month is enough time to make progress, especially devs who beg for money should work for it.
Should be a full update with new sizable content. I really hate the updates that say they just changed the text or font. That is not an update. Add content or wait until you can
Slow update is fine if the Dev is still talking about the game and posting time frames giving something I can look forward too. Otherwise I just end up moving on and forgetting about it.
I tend to gravitate towards the normal update, every 3 months, BUT, I do not mind a faster update cadence. All this is as long as the developer can maintain it without burning out.
