What is one movie everyone should watch at least once?

Still shocked that there are some people who have not seen even the original star wars.

That's one of the first noticeable symptoms, you're getting old.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's already been mentioned but definitely Shawshank Redemption, a movie everybody should watch at the very least once in their lives.

i'm not since Lucas himself has actively suppressed the originals. What is on 4k is the 4th version of the special edition. Only team blu has preserved the originals with 4k77, 4k80 and 4k83. Disney won't release the original to honor Lucas, which is crazy. They are losing lots of money.

The original film just Star Wars not a new hope has never been on home video, that version hasn't been seen in a cinema since before 1981. At best they released a facsimile DVD with the 77 crawl tacked onto the laserdisc master from 1993 with 1993 audio which wasn't theatrical. Its been a lost film for more than 40 years.

curios case of benjamin button, idk why but i think everyone should have a go at it.

Pineapple express, it teaches boys and men the true meaning of friendship. Very motivational and uplifting.

A less well known one from the 1930s called "Make Way For Tomorrow." There was a Japanese movie based on it made during the 1950s (in the 30s one, all the elderly couple's children are pretty rotten. The Japanese one they are treated well by their daughter in law - windowed as her husband was killed in WW2.)

Life is Beautiful
Everyone knows about the Holocaust obviously, but this movie actually humanizes it and makes you think about human lives, not the desensitization from reading about it in a history text book or every troll on the internet.

What Dreams May Come

An absolute tearjerker of an experience, especially if you have someone in your life like a spouse or long-term partner.

It also gave me hope that there might be some sort of existence after death.

Also, Robin Williams was just such a phenomenal actor!
