All modern movies are garbage. Focus on old ones when people cared about the art of movies instead of just money and sequels. Specially awful modern disney movies.
I recommend also anime movies from the 90s like Vampire Hunter D and Armitage III, when the animations were in such a godly level that no one can replicate now.

I have no idea why I still have not seen Memento. I love Nolan. Me and my friends go to every one of his movies in IMAX. One of my friends always give me shit that I still haven't seen Memento because it's so damn good. I really should watch it.

Infernal Affairs (2002) and its sequels, great Hong Kong crime/drama that Scorsese pretty much remade as The Departed(2006).
Also recommend Kung Fu Hustle (2004).
Also recommend some of the older Jackie Chan movies, like Police Story.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
Ong Bak (2003) is awesome too, great Thai martial arts movie.
Train to Busan (2016) - Korean Zombie movie.
The Raid: Redemption (2011), and The Raid 2 (2014)- good Indonesian action movies.
