Renpy is easy and simple.Unity most of the times is unoptimized such as UE.

I've tried unity and RPGM games, and they aren't really my thing for this genre. I go Ren'py all the way with the exception of the Lust Epidemic franchise.

I'm with you guys on this. Renpy is nice, Lust Epidemic is extremely well made.
Would love to see a proper 3D game, but devs usually can't really handle UE or Unity. And I'm not only talking about adult games. Unity games are usually badly optimized, heavy on the graphics card and PC in general.
RPGM is just way too old for me, I've played too much of it in the past 15 years.

ren'py

there are so many vn that ren'py is that i play most, round about 98% i would say. i love to make screenshots (ingame) and in ren'py it is easy, so it's my favorite engine.

Like so many other have said Ren'py, I haven't played that many other games in other engines.

Renpy is the best followed by Unity, I don't like most games made in RPGM.

Ren'Py is hands down favorite. Unity would be second.

You can probably make a better game with Unity but most of the time Ren'Py wins.

Renpy is the most important/best platform for me, there are a few exceptions to RPGM or Unity.
UE ...walking, lagging...crap xD
Exception: Auril games, I really like them

Renpy is my favourite, but sometimes I also like RPGM, some Unity and HTML.

RenPy by a lot. But I also think that RPGM has some solid games. I tried some Unity-games, but those usually are not for me. There have been good ones, but they are all lacking in some way.

Ren'py all the way. I'm not sure if it's because i haven't played many Unity games but the few I have played I didn't much care for its interface. I want to get into Love of Magic for example but the experience just isn't as smooth to me as the renpy engine is.

In my opinion, Ren'py is the best choice for visual novels. While Unity is a strong option as well, I personally prefer Ren'py.

Ren'Py is the default winner here, but I will say that I find RPGM games unplayable. I don't even consider them anymore.

Renpy and whatever touch base games are usually. Unity and unreal Bleh, usually run like trash.

Ren'Py is king. Text only games also get me going so I seek out HTML/Twine games too. I'll only touch RPGM if there are lots of tags I like and the story seems compelling enough.

Ren'py for easy of use, even you are not huge code nerd you can still change stuff with it + there is more support thanks URM mod.
