For the most part, I prefer the 3D. With 2d art, it generally has to be very good for me to like it.

depends on the models and if its hand drawn. In general I'd prefer hand drawn almost every time but I do have respect for 3D games where the creator makes their own models instead of using presets. You can only look at the same face and 5 hair styles before it gets boring and it starts to blend together.

Going further, I think the style of art, even when all options are done well, can make a world of difference for me.
Aaaand then there's just whatever strikes me in the moment. Sometimes I'm going to love ahegao, other days I'm not.

Even if it is a fine story, stick figure images will turn you off. So, 3D and 2D have to have some artistic time invested to make me feel involved. When I support a game financially, it has to be a good looking effort.
