I like the idea. To see your favourite characters in lewd environment its great, but most parodies have bad art and even worse story. They also tend to be abandoned quickly.

It's great when you find one of characters that arent so popular but you like. Still, i think most have low quality.

A vast majority of parody games out there are just low quality. They don't even try to use the original source material in a meaningful way, most of the time the parody characters are just used as a "skin" for some generic character in a generic game.

I don't mind parody games as long as they have a good quality images and a decent story to tell.

I grew up in a different culture, I'm unfamiliar with most parody targets. Those projects where I can understand what is being parodied did not impress me. It's just not funny.

The first adult game / Adult VN I played that wasn't a flash game was princess trainer. Generally I am a fan of parody games, it's fun to see familiar characters in new situations. That said, there are a lot of bad parody games.

they can be good but typically have a lower appeal than an original story.

It's probably better to make original characters in a Parodied IP as opposed to using exisitng ones.


Still, there is something about seeing Darth Talon naked and Maranda Lawson doing anal.

It needs to be an arousing game first and foremost, then adjusted to a Parody.

Also, a parody needs to look as close as possible to the source material. Amity Park is a good example. Early on it seemed like a great parody game because it resembled the original show. Then they changed the style and, even though the art was objectively better, it flopped because it looked like a cheap Anime rip-off. The original creator is now trying to go back closer to the original style while most of the rest of the team is starting their new game with the inaccurate characters.

We really need more, i love a parody game. Sadly, a lot of them are abandoned
