Illogical characters: they do stupid stuff just for the sake of stupid stuff. They have riches beyond reason yet need to get hired at the local shop. They are clearly breaking countless laws yet despite leaving behind evidence and camera footage get away with it just because. They do actions that are against the very nature of the character they have been presented to be (corruption needs more work not just a simple suggestion and talk during tea time).
Boring story: a lot of talking just for the sake of talking with little to no interactions between characters. Then there's the other part: far too less talking and then a whole lot of clicking on empty rooms.
Gameplay done wrong: for sandbox games, you have a bunch of places to visit just for the sake of having them, but you have not interactions there or at most just 1 which is to look around. If it's a game meant about exploration, add stuff there to explore, things to do, scenes to unlock. For choice based novels, it's having choices with no valid or reasonable purpose behind them.
Ageless vampires: you have a 40+ yo woman looking like she's 18, or a 30+ yo woman looking like she's 12. Devs, when you make the character, there's a complexion and an age slider somewhere in the character creator, use them. If she ends up like that because of some plot device part of the story, that's ok.
NTR for no reason: If you want to focus on this genre, study the damn genre. Don't just make a random toxic relationship and then have the woman fall in love with the MC or at all, just to use him as a bouncy board for her night activities and then tell us her husband actually likes the idea... those are other genres, cuckolding and netorase. IF you are confused, just remember that NTR has a main focus on destroying relationships and emotional connections of couples just for the heck of it, it's more than simple infidelity. Then there are the stories where the woman is in such a bad relationship with her husband that we want them to breakup. There's no relationship there anymore outside of social standards, so can't be NTR. The infidelity becomes a tool for them to break up officially. Then there's the other part of the cake... you add NTR when it's simply Sharing or Swinging or Hotwifing, your call.
Psychopatic tendencies hidden in the game: When you have a sudden decapitation or violent death scene in a game or acts of beating up a woman or a child or anyone around them, but the game has no Violence tag, warnings or anything like that, as it's common practice to do with regard to such things, especially in visual media. For one, the impact on the viewer can be quite powerful, the dev could cause unneeded harm, unless that's their point, to cause harm to the viewers, but that's just wrong... don't do it, seek help.
This leads me to the final thing: wrong tags and genres descriptions causes a heck lot of confusion. IT's not that hard to google what the tag means, you know? Do us a favor devs, and don't give us a very avoidable reason to hate on you.
That's about it. If you are a dev, and are reading this, take a note and save it.
