Some games I've played like that use exclusively real porn are fun
but there are a lot of just mediocre and uninspired html games out there

It's limited. When you try to put many images and videos of real porn into the game, it becomes a huge file dump. Yeah it might be a good game but you wouldn't store a huge porn game in your computer.

I think it's kinda lazy from developer side, and why bother with playing to get into some scene when you can just search for full video without the need to grind, never seen good game with real porn

This is the only genre i hate. If i wanted to watch porn i would just watch it but to each their own i suppose. If someone likes it who am I to tell them they cant

Not a big fan in general. Most of these games are not consistent with real person/character match ups, because the content is grabed from all kinds of different sources to fit the story of the game. This leaves the player irritated and confused due to mix-ups and inconsistency.

It limits the game fundamentally. What pictures can you find of pornstars without desperately searching on their social media? Scantily clothed. So there can't be tension or progression in the story. It's low effort

But concept itself isn't bad. You could make a totally diffrent story basing it on a porn movie. It's just q bit limiting.

I don't mind real porn being used, i assume most of the time it's easier to write a good compelling story the fill in with clips (that let's face it there are thousands of!) after.

The one thing i don't like it if the dev uses multiple different girls for one character. At least stick with one actress per character...so jarring one clip it being Ava and the next it being Lisa

I have already given an answer in this discussion, but I will only note that from the experience of testing 25 projects, I have found three games with excellent gameplay that are interesting precisely as games, not electronic comics. The authors of these projects really know how to write, and they tell the story masterfully. But you need to make a reservation that they are not suitable for people with a clip perception of information - there is too much text.
The author of one of these projects uses A.I., turning real videos into deep fakes, so the real porn tag is no longer fully applicable here.
But in general, I repeat, the use of real porn speaks to the limited abilities of such developers.

It completely ruins immersion for me.
The only way i may see them working it's with unknown actors, it's weird seen actresses you already seen in other media portrait as characters especially because they are just clips not filmed with the game in mind.

...That's what I thought at first. And then I decided to add: if all the actresses in real porn are of legal age.

I don't really like it, but there are literally 2-3 exceptions. The main problem is that developers are extremely careless when choosing media files. As a result, within the same scene, an actress can quickly turn from blonde to brunette, put on / take off stockings, shoes, etc. The most egregious examples are an instant change in race (an Asian woman turns into a Caucasian or vice versa).
However, there are three or four projects that have been completed very well. I put The Spinney in the first place, a RenPy game, it has a great plot and very neatly compiled media files. And an example from HTML games is Family Business, the media files there are processed using AI and look very good + very good gameplay.
