discussion What are your opinions on games made with real porn?

I dare to say that i actually like them. I enjoyed "back to freedom" for example.
I feel like if they are fleshed out with many options they are great.
Not as great as your average OC game, but playable none the less

Genuinely, if a game had random hentai for their stuff, no one would like it, so why does it pass with real porn so often?

most are crap, some are entertaining, but they all feel kinda lazy from a creative standing. however i once made a video montage of a summer vacation and it took a weekend just to sort through all the media the family amassed over 6 weeks. then a good day smashing into one seemless video, and another 2 days getting the stupid audio video pic and to match with the soundtrack, and i dont know i probably spent 4-8hours just picking the stupid music for the soundtrack too.

so im going to assume, scouring through literal shit tons of porn to find what you want and need to drive your story must take a ridiculous amount of time and energy. so i can say the devs probably do work hard. just a different kind.

99% of these games are just quickly whipped together in HTML. They exist because some aspiring devs don't have all the skills needed to make a game. HTML is the easiest place to start by far, and if they don't want their game to be text-only, then real porn is easy to google and use. Basically real porn is a nice tool for devs looking to just write a story, but don't know much about modelling or drawing. Because of this though, the game often lacks a lot of charm, so the quality of the game appears mediocre at best, no matter how good the writing is. It would be nice if every dev could be a master at modelling, but that is just not reasonable. I particularly choose to avoid real porn games because they don't suit my tastes, but I can very much understand why some devs do it, and I don't consider it necessarily "laziness".

I personally dont feel they work as well as there are immersion breaks when they change footage and the picture or background or hair etc is different between frames

Real porn doesn't feel real, because they are all actors. Drawn or 3D-rendered characters feel more real because they aren't real so they can be what they are supposed to be. If that makes any sense.

These days I mostly look at them with disgust, but funny thing is that one of the first western adult games I ever played was some Russian real porn game called Last Man. It had some nice girls that looked more amateur and not like just screenshots from some high production porn. I guess that made it more "authentic" in a way.

I think a lot of it is someone wants an easy way to make money. That's why most HTML real porn games are total shit. Low effort and just plug in some porn vid. Note that they are almost certainly breaking copyright in doing so - which is very ironic if they bitch about people pirating the game.
