What are some of the non-tags of your liking?

Different levels of corruption clashing against each other will never be a tag because it is too rare.

Basically, a non-corrupted person entering a more corrupted space and that dichotomy being a focal point of the story. Obvious examples would be "Realms of Lust" or "World of No Morals", wherein the MC wakes up in a sex-world. Sadly, both of these adapt to the new mores so quickly that there is barely a transition phase.

I mostly want this to be a tag because that would mean that there were enough games with it to make it worth the effort to create a filter for them.

With how many "games" there are on sites like this, there should be a tag for "traditional story" and "traditional quests." So many "games" are just grind, relationship "sim" things, or porn viewers.

I really like public or otherwise professional performances such as strip tease and similar, typically on stage. I guess what I am really looking for is institutionalized exhibitionism involving more effort than boldness. It's what people go to various shows in Paris for, and what draws crowds to scandalous modern theater performances and the like. Yet apparently it's not a very common kink? There is no tag for this, although the few relevant games typically have the exhibitionism and/or prostitution tag. Some examples:
  • Pale Carnations is full of a diverse range of this.
  • "Lisa's secret" in Solvalley School (#035 in gallery) is a short but good, though less typical example.
  • The initiation scenes in The Higher Society Illustrated.
  • Waifu Academy has several examples. The primary ones are the performances at Honey Bee and the depraved exhibitions at Zaibatsu.
  • The Headmaster has a lot of this material. I particular love the dance lesson in tight leotards.
  • Lisa - Total Investigation is very strong in this regard with the human furniture theme.
  • Red Sakura 1+2
  • Special Request
  • The Lécuyer Cult is a more obscure example (low quality but still remarkably effective as porn) with several such scenes.

Some sexual tags I would love to exist, but don't:
Ff, Mf, Fm (not my thing, but would be nice if it could be tagged) - In essence, more descriptive than just "Female domination" or "Male domination", because it matters a hell of a lot who they dominate.
Would love if all Futa and Trans were separate tags.

Some non-tag things I like to see in my stories, which are perhaps more difficult to capture in a tag:
Detailed insight into the thoughts of (usually) female MC, so you can truly feel how her barriers are crumbling.
Confident male MC that sway others to submit to his will by being charismatic and assertive, rather than using cheap tricks or other I-can't-write-a-story methods like mind control, magic, potions etc.

If I had to change anything about tagging I'd make it less porn brained, remove the genre cliche stuff like ahegao and trap and try to stick to objective descriptions of the game. With that in mind I think you'd end up with tags that are far more descriptive of the stories that the game is trying to tell which seems to be what a lot of the responses to this thread want.

Agreed on this too. In the end, a good description and/or note from the dev on the game's focus is more useful than any tagging system can be, but sadly it slows down browsing.

This made me think of another improvement to the tagging system that's not even on the level of changing any tags. It would be really nice to have a grading for each tag. Something like: unavoidable - optional and/or essential - incidental.
Search filters should make it possible to filter for the degree to which a tag is present.
Moreover, it would be nice if a tag could be explicitly marked as absent, meaning there is a commitment it will never be added in the future.
