i like games that challenge the mind but at the end of the day I'm here to chill so i want a back up option to tell me what to do

Big fan of walkthroughs I'll mod them in. I hate when you miss an event and the whole game just wont trigger because you skipped a WALL of text and you don't know to click the dog when there's a full moon if you want the game to continue because your daughter mentioned petting dogs one time this update. That's a made up one but I've gotten stuck and had to look things up more than once. I feel that ruins games more than a green line of text. Also I'd like people to come up with a system eventually that optimizes ways to make stories branch like mass effect in a way that makes choices matter without, at the same time, making you need a walkthrough or just boil it down to pick the red or blue option. #RenegadeForLife
totally agree with this, especially when your pressed for time

No walkthrough. I want to know my choice's consequences:) Back button is life-saver by the way.

Absolutely. I sadly cannot trust that a developer writes their dialogues/choices in a way that makes any sort of sense, I have been burned way too many times to do that.

Depends on the game. If its branches like a tree I prefer have a walkthrough for big choises but if there is like 3 endings then I dont prefer

if it has missable scenes that rely on early choices then absolutely yes

Yes of course
Especially when it comes to testing a game before keeping it.

I use walkthroughs every time but i have to turn it off on some if possible or not have it at all cause it wouldn't suggest paths to see all content even on multiple play throughs, depends on what game though of course.

I usually don't want to miss content and some might be behind bit of an obtuse choices, so i prefer walkthrough.

I always prefer walkthroughs. i dont want to fumble through exponentially varying endings buy messing up a choice for my intended route

I always prefer walkthroughs because I like knowing where the story is going. Many times, games give you options that you have no idea how they’ll turn out, and you end up seeing something you didn’t want.

Yay. Always yay. First to make sure I get most of the contents out of one playthrough. Second is to save time for people like us who don't have much leisure time to spend on strolling around all day

I always at least check if there is a walkthrough. I'm not patient enough to spend a couple hours trying to figure the puzzles out by myself.

i use walkthroughs when replaying a game and im trying to get a new route/ ending

i like walkthroughs or options that show what choices do. Like if i give the love interest a vanilla muffin instead of a icecream and 30 min later that leads to the love interest dying it gets anoying real fast

I'm of the opinion that a game shouldn't require a walkthrough to know where to go/not miss any scenes, but a well made walkthrough is better than nothing
