Absolute yay for me. I don't like sandbox games where there are no indications of what to do next.

yay 100% of the time. You still can make a decision by yourself, but in some situations it better to use 100% good option.

it should be like a light pat on the back to let me go smoothly through the game without spoiling anything.

Yes. Always! I never choose to play without if there's an option to have it. If it were possible I'd love a list of all possible routes in games as well if you can't get all the LI as a harem.

Walkthough or gallery unlocker. Or as to be soo good to actually play it

Walkthroughs are a must for me. A well made walkthrough mod is best, since it minimizes chance of spoilers, but pdf walkthroughs are sometimes better if the walkthrough mod is erring on the side of "not making it clear the future consequences".

I prefer walkthrough just to ensure i dont miss out on scenes, especially if its the type of game where you can get all scenes in a single playthrough

Whel i think why not. You never know when you hawe use for it. You culd always not use the walktrue if you wish

walkthrough. I don't walk to play a game of "guess what the author is thinking". - with rare exceptions for games with well enough designed choices such that its clear what direction you're going

Walkthrough for sure. My time playing is limited and I don't want to restart a scene or gameplay a bunch of times because I forgot to pick up a fork in chapter 1 which unlocks the path for the girl I was interested in. I mean if the dev basically has a yes or no to go after a character then a walkthrough really isn't needed.

only if the game needs them.. some games are easy enough without a ton of hidden things and in that case why would you need it?

start using because of the japaneses vns one wrong option and waste a lot of time
