i like to go in blind with a game on the first try. that way, the huge moments, plot twist or surprises are more impactful. after my first play through, i like to use a walkthrough to speed through subsequent plays.

Walkthrough, it saves lot of time, and you are sure of having seen all scenes.

Walkthroughs are welcomed, I play AVNs to relax and anything to make that easier is fine by me.

Walkthroughs are always appreciated by me, especially if its for a VN game that has multiple paths where making one wrong choice can change the route of your playthrough.

A good walkthrough on a sandbox game is great.Other than that, I want to go through it myself with surprises

No, I download the pdf but I almost never use it, I never download the mod.

I really don’t care one way or the other except for sandbox type games. Some devs write themselves in circles I flipping hate the way a sandbox game stifles the overall flow of the game and kills the immersion. Repeating The same action over and over with no progress, only to find out that you needed to do something else first drives me crazy and triggers my delete the game urges. So, I look for a walkthrough to save time and frustration.

It all depends on the content if the game makes it clear to you that you can avoid the content you don't want then it's cool, I hate how seemingly cool it promises to be and then suddenly it's NTR, Sharing, Futa etc. Because for me it ruins the game if it's not clear enough that you have to use a Walkthrough.

yes I want one, and if it is added by dev, even better. If it's integrated, you can always turn it on or off...
But to take it one step further, I often see those games where there are multiple choices, but it doesn't really matter which one you select. If you look at paradise lust forexample that's fine, you get the same result, but with different text. But often you do one or the other, don't see any difference and have no idea how it will influence the future, then why is that option there in the first place ?

Absolutely.
I like it when games have different paths so i can turn on the WT to explore them.

I use walkthroughs so not to miss anything if they are available. However, given the choice, I would prefer to have Gallery unlockers than walkthroughs. Reading through a VN I look at the renders and read the story often missing hidden objects on screen i.e. the donuts in Sunshine Love.
Also, when VNs branch I normally only play through once and pick the branch I prefer. Probably miss a lot of content that way but cannot be bothered to keep reading the same VN over and over.
I hate it when you have to choose an LI from a bunch of gorgeous babes too! I want all of them!!! :D

yay, I don't want to redo a game 5 times to get the maximum content

I dont usually use it, but when you have a game where every decision counts, then WT should be mandatory.

I wouldn't say they're essential, it's just that many creators push plots in ways that don't fit the story, such as adding a sudden path where the MC becomes a pussy, unavoidable NTR if you choose the wrong path, cuck, etc. So then WT is a real savior.

I'd say that I prefer to have the walkthrough when playing a game, especially when the game is based on raising hidden values and the walkthrough shows the impacts on these values.
Sometimes, you make what can be seen has a bad choice because you want to raise a specific value. Without the walkthrough, you may have missed this.

i play game for fun not solve quest or task so i play with walkthrough i just enjoy the stories
