Hello everyone! I'd like to share some videos that I've converted to the SBS (Side-by-Side) format.

I usually watch these videos on my Quest 3 headset, so I'm not sure how the quality compares on other VR headsets. However, on my setup they look great and provide a very enjoyable viewing experience.

I normally copy the videos directly to my headset and play them using the default Media Player settings. If you manually select the video format as either Top-and-Bottom or SBS, the player will try to adjust the aspect ratio to its default setting, which will end up distorting the video's original aspect ratio.

One thing to keep in mind is that SBS videos tend to have much larger file sizes because the horizontal resolution is effectively doubled. For example, a 1080p video becomes a 2160p SBS video.

Another thing to consider is that videos made with 3D animation generally look better in SBS than traditional 2D animations, since the depth effect is much more noticeable.

Finally, I'll be uploading these videos from time to time. If there's a video you'd like me to convert to the SBS format, just let me know. I'll be happy to help, free of charge, in case you were wondering.

If you downloaded the file from your PC:
1. Download the video
2. Connect your VR headset to your PC
3. Authorize the file transfer on your VR headset
4. Copy the video to any folder, such as Downloads or Movies
5. Access the folder where you copied the video using your file manager
6. Play the video

Unfortunately, VR headsets have become an expensive hobby that only people with mid-range to high-end PCs can really take full advantage of. And that's not even mentioning the people whose first VR experience was with fast-paced games that made them motion sick and completely turned them off from buying one.

It's kind of interesting—this reminds me of the "prostitute index." The idea is that if sex workers are getting fewer clients, it can be an early sign of a recession because people start cutting back on spending for entertainment or pleasure first. In a way, it feels like another sign that we're living through tough economic times.
