Yeah mind you, I've rated their other works 5/5 and supported goosenards for years. It's not like I'm a hater. It's just that when I see a half decent story suddenly kill itself and burn all its potential (by cutting off every plot point and devolving into a series of animations) I'm GONNA be harsh and criticize that, because I feel like my investment in the character journey wasn't honored.

Artists deserve honesty, and when the audience feels ripped off we should be vocal about it.

having an unique pose and face rig for almost every speech makes the conversations feel more alive (and the size bloat up) and the sex scenes are INCREDIBLE but it takes so long to get going, and I have 0 interest in the story.

Are you sure the requirements for the "dad" ending are correct? I romanced all side characters and I let Cora continue seeing Tara, but I just got the "love" ending instead.

The guide says DON'T let Cora continue seeing Tara, that was the only ending I didn't see as I only did the very first woman in the clothing store once to see it and then loaded back since Cora was right there watching the flirting and didn't seem too happy about it, so I'll have to try for it this weekend.

I don't have the time to test it just now, but it just occurred to me that it might have to do with the "joke" or more properly "dad joke",

in chapter 3 I think, when you're in the grocery store picking out something for Ravens ritual, Cora asked your opinion and you can either be serious or give a joking answer.

I never understood why that seems such a pivotal choice, but it would kinda make sense, going for the Dad ending, tell a Dad joke.

Great to see a completed game, enjoyed it and looked forward to endings the whole way through development.

As far as my opinions on the endings in case anyone wants to discuss their experience (don't click unless you want to be spoiled or have played the endings. Respond with spoiler tags):

Love Ending: I liked it, but didn't love it as much as I had hoped... Would have been great if instead of one animation of each sex scene a bunch of different times there was a few that were more fleshed out to either let us choose preg/not or give us a better indication this was leading. Don't get me wrong I love impregnation in games with LIs and I think Cora is a great LI it just didn't feel quite as intentional as I would have liked.

Magnus ending: Sure, this one was okay, classic trope. Would have hit better if there was more of an indication of the accident/injury being an event earlier in the story that was either narrowly avoided in the playthrough or seemed minor at the time. Maybe there is something there and I just missed it but if you're gonna do the oldest twist in the book "it was a dream the whole time" because OP was in a coma having some indication of when the coma took place would make it feel more earned. Matthew/Tommy probably doesn't deserve love considering the type of love he enabled but again didn't quite feel earned.

Raven ending: I chuckled a bit. It was silly and lighthearted, sue me! We knew Raven was batshit crazy from the jump playing her path both ways so not super surprised. There was always magic in the world so it works fine for me. Not a "good ending" for a harem/love lover like myself but worth experiencing.

Dad ending: I can't seem to get either... Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I either get love or Raven. Anyone find any other decisions that needed to be made to get this one? I'll share my thoughts if I figure it out.

Just to say that the Magnus ending was also possible with all side romance, just as long as I didn't play hooky.
And confirming what Sashe_velikiot said: all romance+tara(+hooky) gave me the love ending, not the dad ending.
