I'm thinking "romance path" = fuck scene later, not get her pregnant and marry her at the end of the story. Other thing sounds like a bug if she's referring to things that didn't happen.
Nothing is off. The fact of the matter is that Raven is a broken girl -- end of discussion. You don't ever stick your dick in crazy.
Treat Riley like you should treat someone you actually care about and you'll keep getting the best scenes.
While I appreciate the comments, I'd rather wait to hear from the dev on this matter if it is the intended outcome for Jade on both paths, but until then I have some thoughts about these responses and the scene as it was given to me:
Well, if this is the case, then it shouldn't be called romance path then for the other chicks if they are just going to be one and done sex scenes. And the scene with Jade before the sex scene is different too dependent on path. When you don't pick her romance path option she is clearly losing it when she shows up in the apartment. But on the romance path she seems more stable and then submissive in the sex scene, and she was worried about you getting her arrested, so on that path it makes no sense for her to show up and ambush you with a crazy girl act in the barn, she was scared you would call the cops on her on the "romance" path. It makes some sense that if you pick to "romance" Amy, a random chick at a store with Cora/Riley there that it can hurt your relationship with her and since she's a random chick why it might not go anywhere. But with Jade it was different, she was getting lots of screen time, showing up on the cover, and her and Riley were getting along really well. Even if Jade seemed like a bit of a weird person, she was no weirder than our girl is. It just feels like it came out of nowhere and like it was the result of something being off in the variables, especially since something IS off since Riley talks about an event that doesn't happen if you pick to romance Raven so the variable is broken in some way, and with how out of left field it came that for me she went from a "fraud who was worried about getting arrested and felt kind of bad when I called her out," to a mooing psycho in the course of a single evening who ambushes the guy she was just looking at the night before and treating almost the same way Riley does and she was worried could get her arrested... it doesn't fit.
I get this isn't a "fuck every girl you see all the time," type of game, but I figured that there would be some leeway with some chicks besides just turning every other chick down, especially one that we get to know and Riley seems to really like and seems to fit well with the main characters. It is fiction, and truth be told, if we want to get "real" with it then the Mc wouldn't be waiting to do more with Riley, that's something that will build up to. So, for Jade especially, who until this moment was like an older Riley (eccentric and cute) and not a crazy cow lady, then it would make a lot of sense for him to get with her on a road to being willing to be with Riley. He even sees Riley when he's with Jade, which is one of the reasons I took it how I did, that it was step towards that outcome. So is the implication that Riley is also actually crazy and will end up nuts like Raven since they are so similar? And again, on the other path the Mc humors Raven and she's already clearly losing it when she shows up again. While on the other path the Mc calls out her BS and seems to knock her back to reality and he is kind of doing for her what he is for Riley, stabilizing her. It makes no sense, to me at least, for both paths to end up the exact same with regard to her.
Now I could get that the Mc and Riley have to leave either way and so, romance or not, Jade might get left behind, at least for now, but the barn scene doesn't make sense to be the same to me. Anyway, I'm rambling, sorry, its just that the barn scene was very jarring and then with the clearly broken variable being displayed by Riley's comment about the kissing... yeah, I'd like to know what the intention was and if I should keep going or wait for a fix (or the next update) or even give up the game entirely if this really is a solo-girl game with a bunch of random sex encounter in the way that are basically all semi-fail-state mines.
