I love cheesy horror movies, with that being said, my top 5 would have to be:
Halloween 4 1988
Paranormal Activity 2007
A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984
Jeepers Creeper 2001
Bride of Chucky 1998

For straight up Cheesy fun nothing beats Army of Darkness.

As for Freddy movies i'd probably pick part 1, 3 and Wes Craven's New Nightmare.

  1. The Thing 1982
  2. Alien
  3. Dawn of the Dead 2004
  4. Evil Dead 2
  5. Train To Busan

1. Hereditary (2018)
2. The Witch (2015)
3. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
4. The Shining (1980)
5. The Thing (1982)

I'd place The Terminator, And Alien, and The Thing on my all time Sci FI list. I have an entire separate list just for Kubrick.

Taskmaster is the only British show that i have watched but i really enjoy it.

I thought Carter was pretty good coming out of Canada, but I like a good campy detective show and Jerry O'Connell.

Well, something good is coming out this grindfest. I haven't seen any of it except for Toast of London (it's funny).
Toast of London. Matt Berry is the best.

There is one that is Seinfeldish kind of show about a guy who owns a gas station. Can't recall the name. That was good. Murdoch mysteries is Canadian show too

Doctor Who for semi-serious,
Red Dwarf is good, more light-hearted though

Is Murdoch Mysteries campy. I don't care for shows like Luthor that are more grizzled. I'm a Psych, Monk, Diagnosis Murder kind of gal.

I love Monk. I have watched it at least 3 times. I liked Psych too. For witty shows, Frasier is my go to show. Lost count how many times I have watched it. Murdoch is set in late 19th century about a detective who finds novel ways (new discoveries at that time) to solve mysteries. It has a lot inventors of that time. It may take a full season to get into the show though.
