Yeah, I guess if "cute" is your main prerequisite, tsundere probably isn't for you. For me it's the emotional aspect. I can find a million games with a cutie who is horny for me from the first scene, but the earning of her love is what gets me going, cracking her hard shell, softening her defenses. The moment she confesses that she doesn't hate me, I melt. It's not the anger, violence or combativeness per se, but more seeing her try to suppress that little by little until she finally has to admit she doesn't hate me. Defeating the final boss wouldn't be nearly as satisfying if it was too easy. lol
