my thoughts exactly, but if you are a proffesional and you want to be hired by some big company you need to go with industry standards. basically software like Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Maya, etc, which are ALL subscription based and most of the times are up to the thousands euros to get. it is what it is.Well, that's ridiculous. Surprised anyonebuysrents it with that. Guess they like being pirated or people using free knock-offs.
yeah. companies nowdays capitalise on the industry standards to squiz you dry. that is why imo blender( you get almost 4 payed software in one) and U5 (although you will need to spend a bit of cash for assets or combine it with blender) are the way to go especially if you plan to be your own boss. but if you wish to go to a big company, then there is really only one way. Daz as ell, is going the way of squizing you dry with the mediocre high priced assets they release, not to mention they do almost nothing to evolve daz as a platform ( they also promote wokeness but that is a whole nother story)Guess you have to either be rich or sail the high seas then. Fucked up how they make it you have to have money to make money.
It's true. That's why I try to use Open Source whenever I can.yeah. companies nowdays capitalise on the industry standards to squiz you dry. that is why imo blender( you get almost 4 payed software in one) and U5 (although you will need to spend a bit of cash for assets or combine it with blender) are the way to go especially if you plan to be your own boss. but if you wish to go to a big company, then there is really only one way.
