I don't mind pineapple on pizza, and I find it amusing how many people freak the fuck out about it. But then again, most people seem to think Pizza was invented in Italy and should come default with Pepperoni... which is hilarious, because Pizza has been around since ancient times, the Italians just gave it the name Pizza. Even when they first started eating it, it was nothing like we see today, it didn't have a tomato sauce, although it frequently did have sliced tomatoes. Salami was added because it was relatively cheap and readily available. But there were tons of different toppings that could be found on pizza from the street vendors back then, including figs. It was usually some sort of oil with herbs added, which was later replaced by tomato sauce, and evidence has been found going back to ancient Egypt of them eating what was basically white pizza...

I love pinapple pizza and I think most people who hate on it have never even tried it, or hate on it for the meme. I think scientifically pineapple tastes good. Like salty and sweet mixes really well on your tongue. This is why some people like to dip french fries in frosties.

I will say though I’m someone who is very open about trying and liking new foods, and anchovies are a tragedy.

I've only had it once...grandma cooking a ham while still in the plastic shrink wrap kind of ruined pineapple & ham for me.

Now, Canadian bacon on pizza? That's gooooood!
