    Tags which align to my interests are most important, followed by experience of the author (Have they completed a game, is the game I'm looking at version 0.01, have they left a string of unfinished projects, etc). Rating is not that important, comparatively.

    When the author, who starts out trying to create a complex and relatable protagonist, ends up shitting out every ounce of angst and self doubt and anger they have in their real life. In the first 20 frames or so. If the reader feels like an underpaid mental health care worker – you need an editor.
